How long do the rest of you bloggers wait before you drop a link?
One of my links hasn't updated since May. But his blog is very informative and unique.
Should I let it go, make room for a more active poster?
I've dropped two previous links, a nice Chinese Lady who didn't update and a German guy who also became inactive. Perhaps I am too impatient.

Blogs don't expire. If you have enjoyed a blog, you could keep the post up for anyone to travel to and find the words you enjoyed.
It is nice to travel to current blogs so that we can comment and interact with them though.
I know when I was blog surfing I found two great blogs but they haven't been updated in a while either so I don't have them on my links.

Well, why do you have the links up there? To show what you've enjoyed reading?
If it's not updated does that mean you enjoyed reading it any less? :p
I hesitate to delete a link so as not to hurt someone's feelings, but if he hasn't posted or commented for several months, I assume that he's lost interest, and it goes.
How long, though, varies, depending, I suppose, on how much I've enjoyed the blog in the first place.
