Can you ever have too many friends?

This week, I have been enjoying two new blog friendships: Walking Man -- certainly my alter-ego, Enkidu to my Gilgamesh; and Nicotine Queen, a witty and feisty dweller in Gotham City, aka the Big Apple, aka New York.

And tonight, I found another great blog to explore: Genevieve's treenotes.blogspot.com. A labor of love about our magnificent Eastern American trees.

Can you ever have too many friends?

Being a lover of trees I had a good time browsing through Tree Notes. Thanks for the link ECD.

Kat: That was a fascinating article, worth a blog post all on its own. (Regarding the effect of color on behavior).

I had never heard of that type of pink before. I just wanted a new color for the blog and I'd already done white, blue and tan/peach, leaving me with very few other options that wouldn't drown out the text or look freakishly Goth.

Since I'm a guy, let's refer to this choice of color as light red. (o:

Since we're on the subject, what do the rest of you think? Is this color too intense, too hard to read?

I myself had just discovered that article and thought it timely to mention it in passing. Yes we are influenced by such... and much else ...unbeknownst to us.

As for background... change as much and as often as you like :-) Change is good!

Are you asking me my favorite? I like the parchment color for Isis (in keeping with age and dignity and theme)

Nope, I don't think you can have too many friends. I'll be sure to check out these links.

Thats funny.

And no, you can never have too many friends. When someone isnt posting fast enough for you, you have more to chose from.
