Blog friends, beware

I was having so much fun this afternoon reading some of the old posts of a certain new blog friend, that I had a wild idea. I am going to pick out a few of you on my blogroll this weekend, especially some that I haven't visited in a while, and read a couple of your very old posts, but limit myself to replying to posts with zero entries.

Just a silly thing to do. Nothing is sadder than a lonely little post with no friendly comment to comfort it.

Oh, baby! Have I got some lonely posts for you!
April 2007 is fraught...

Oh, and maybe you could tell us what that blog was, and we can all flood it with comments (eeevil)

ECD, you seem to be getting a lot of comments lately. Isn't it great?

I know that I enjoy all the comments that I get.

Trisia: I like your idea! We could call it blog-mobbing.

Chase: I love these comments. I read each of them and try to respond as quickly as I can. While I am thrilled that some new folk have come to visit, my goal of late has been to try to reach out to some of my my earlier blog friends whom I haven't talked with recently.

Trisia: By the way, spelling "evil" that way reminds me of how Mermaid Man pronounces it on Sponge Bob.

Now I have to do some research -- have no idea who Mermaid Man is.

Not that I ever watched the Sponge Bob TV show/cartoon/whatever it is. That giant fake smile on a porous block of yellow genuinely scares me.

(My apologies to any fans of the show)

But 'blog-mobbing' sure sounds like loads of fun.
