I wore tennis shoes to work today.
My worn-out, dirt-stained tennis shoes.
They don't go well with my slacks and tie.
My office does not celebrate Casual Friday, by the way.
I cannot explain why I did this. But by the time I realized my mistake, I was of course 30 minutes drive from home and could do absolutely nothing about it.

Freaky Friday

Not too long ago my boss showed up to work with mismatched shoes. One brown. One black. I'm thinking it's not a good idea to get dressed in the dark.
People are way more forgiving and easy-going on Fridays.
My school doesn’t seem to have a dress down policy for Fridays either. We had a campaign earlier in the year that allowed us to buy a sticker for two dollars. This was a donation to the United Way and allowed us the opportunity to dress down. This campaign is long over but the tradition seems to remain. Except now everyone dresses down for “free” as it were.
Trendsetter!! :)
interesting. i am sure some were envious, and some were dumbfounded.
Foster: There should be a law against having to go to work so early that one must dress in the dark.
Chase: I think I'll try that idea when we do United Way this year, since I'm in charge of that thing for our district.
Leslie: Ah, You've discovered my evil plan to take over the world!
Melanie: I must admit these shoes are comfortable and that perhaps a few fires of envy were stoked.
