Not alone

Venturing deeper into the woods today, into parts once familiar to me, where I once felt myself quite alone, I found it not so today. Someone has built walls of scrap wood, hung black plastic tarps, created some kind of a campsite. It was uncomfortable, wondering who did so, and for what purpose. I did not linger today but I will have to go back.

So many people are losing their homes these days---could it be one of those unfortunates?

it could well be someone who can't cope with life ; the constant questions and rush and demands of busy people might be unbearably stressful .
i't would be good to check occasionally from a distance that he/she is not at any immediate risk .... but to leave well alone .

Molly,Smitonius, might be. If so, I will respect their privacy. But the encampment lies astride the woodlands through which I reach my favorite little swamp, so I can't avoid it entirely.
