This was the weekend that I was supposed to catch up on blogging. To answer all the comments to my posts and then go visit my favorite sites.
And I was going to make bread, too.
I didn't do any of that. Bad ECD, bad.
I did, however, finally clean up the huge pile of newspaper clips on my study room floor -- which will now be a fruitful source of writing ideas. And I weeded and mulched the garden.
I don't dare make any more blog promises. Time just slips away. I will write when I can, comment when I can. Gotta be honest.

I've got to stop making blog promises

I hope you had a nice and relaxing weekend. Everyone needs those occasionally. Don’t feel bad. Take time for yourself. You deserve it!
Hey, weeding and mulching the garden takes time. And so does cleaning up "piles" of stuff in your office. You got a lot accomplished. Pat yoursef on the back (grin)!
Reminds me of something that happened to me last month. My writing career has changed so much this year, in that all but one of my books are now published by other publishers. Since Kittyfeather Press is only publishing one of my books now, I no longer need all the packing "stuff," etc., that I have collected for the last 19 years I have been in the writing business. So I cleaned out my office and file room last month to get it organized and up-to-date with my changed career.
I thought I could do it in one Saturday afternoon. No. I thought I could finish it in another Saturday afternoon. No. It took 3 Saturday afternoons to do it, and I still have one file to clean out. In the meantime I have built a small mountain of trash by the garage which is slowly going out to recycling, etc.
Sometimes things take longer than we think they will. And we never get to our best intentions. Oh, well. There's always next weekend (grin)!
Much love to you and many faery xoxo!
Yea for cleanup! That's well worth it!
Chase: Thanks -- you're a good man.
Laura: The weekends never last long enough. You blink, and they are gone. So You are right that we have to congratulate ourselves for what we do accomplish.
Claudia: Clean is a relative term for my study room, even in the best of times. Sweetie hates the place. She shudders at the clutter -- the books, magazines and all my silly knick-knacks: a coyote skull, a stuffed clown, empty hot sauce bottles,a Russian sardine can, a carved Indian head, rocks, my porcelain ...
...But my study room is my place, my corner of the house and I love it, clutter and all.
Welcome to my world...
Not only have I been unable to write in mine or FLOW, I am about a month behind reading everyone's blog as well. Sigh.
Someday.... :)
